GROUP MEMBERS

Hi, welcome to the member site!  My name is Woun and I'm a recent graduate of American Baptist Seminary of the West and also a member of Japanese Baptist Church in Seattle WA.  I have the privilege of being the guitarist/vocalist for this group of young adults who are passionate about serving God through their music.  I would personally like to thank you for you interest in our work and mission to the people in Japan, specifically to the students at Soshin School and Kanto Gakuin in Tokyo.  As you may already know, we have been called to introduce contemporary worship to the students of these two schools.  As a follower of Jesus, I am humbled and delighted to take on this task of service and to work hard to be a faithful witness to the Love and the power of God.

Hey what's up!  My name is Sun and I'll be playing the bass and singing for this mission trip.  I'm a first year M.Div student at American Baptist Seminary of the West and I'll be working as a youth pastor for a Korean church in Dublin next fall!  I'm really excited about going to Japan to share the music that we prepared so far.  I thank God for this oppotunity to serve and meet the people who look like me but are so different from me culturally.

Hello, I'm Lawrence and I'm the  keyboardist for Amenables.  I'm a recent graduate of University of Berkeley with a music composition major.  I love music and I love praising God!  I'm grateful for this opportunity to serve God in Japan through music which I am so passionate about.  I believe this trip will open doors to many things and I look forward to using the gifts that God gave me to expand God's reign here on earth.  Peace.

Hi, I'm Jeremy.  I am the drummer for the Japanese Baptist Church praise team and will be playing the drums during our mission trip.  I am currently at a crossroads in my life - I will be graduating from the University of Washington in the spring and starting graduate school at the University of Toronto next fall.  While academics are no doubt an important part of my life, I believe that God is challenging me to reconcile my own aspirations with the work of the Lord.  It is my hope and prayer that as a volunteer missionary, I would not only be an instrument for sharing the love of God with the people of Japan, but that I would also receive new insights into the plan that God has for me.
