MUSIC

These are some of the songs that we are preparing to share with the people in Japan. The original songs were written for this mission in the hopes that they would speak to the younger Japanese population.  We also included some familiar praise songs to give the listerners an opportunity to follow along.

One of the biggest challenges we face is to present these songs to a Japanese-speaking audience.  In light of this, we will be singing some of the songs in Japanese, while providing Japanese translations for all of them.  In doing so, we hope to transcend the language barrier and communicate the love of God.

Broken Road (by Amenables)

Here I am at the dead end road
I walk and I feel my hollow steps
Wondering how I got here now
Somebody take me away
Somebody take me away

(Bridge)
So here I am on this broken road
I'm in too deep, can't help myself from sinking fast
I can't help myself, I'm out of options
There's one thing I can count on it's your grace

(Chorus)
Amazing grace
You can touch me and heal me and save me
Amazing grace
I can hear you, I can feel you, I can walk with you
Away from this place

Take me to the sacred place
Feel my soul responding to your healing grace
Wondering how I got here now
No one can take me away
No one can take me away

Come Just As you Are (by Crystal Lewis)

Unchanging (by Chris Tomlin)

Savior of My Life (by Amenables)

How long have I sat here?
Watching all the nonsense on TV
I'm sure there is no purpose left in me

When will I find freedom
To escape from all the things that cloud my mind
God I want to change my helpless ways

(Chorus)
If you're the missing one
Then it's time to step into the light
Come out and feel the love that gives you sight
Open up your heart where God resides

And take off your worldly clothes
That bind you to the pain and suffering
And dive into the river of the king
Feel the water cleanse you from within

(Bridge)
Savior of my life
Lord I give my all
You're the one I needed in this life of mine

As the Deer (by Martin Nystrom)

Hana (One) (by Amenables)
