During the morning worship service on Sunday, June 8th, we will be recognizing JBC's young adults who will be going on mission trips this summer:

June 8TH
“Miriam the Marimba” will be having a concert at JBC this coming Sunday, June 8th, beginning at 2 p.m. The concert is in honor of the Armagost family, American Baptist missionaries to Japan who have been worshiping with us at JBC during the year of home assignment. (The Armagosts will be returning to Kobe in July.) The concert is also a fund-raiser to provide additional financial support for the Armagosts’ mission work. Suggested donation in $10 per person, $5 per student or senior. Memmi Ochi and others have graciously arranged to present this concert for your enjoyment and as a way we can show support for a family that has become very dear to us. We hope that many of you will plan to attend the concert.
June 22nd
The Armagost Family will be returning to Japan in early July. We would like to honor them at a potluck luncheon after Worship on Sunday, June 22nd. Please plan to attend and plan to bring a main dish and a salad or rice dish or dessert. Please bring something that does not need to be reheated.
